Lucius: Wildewoman

NEW YORK five-piece Lucius have drawn comparisons with the much better known Haim, but their debut is far better than their detractors would have you believe.
The band are masters of campfire country and gloriously sunshine pop, whether invoking the spirit of Phil Spector on Hey, Doreen or composing the touching nursery rhyme-ish Monsters. A wonderfully joyful record to be played again and again.
