Pulled Apart by Horses’ third album may be, in the words of Medium Rare, young, dumb and full of (sniiiip! – ed), but that description misses one key word: fun.
The Leeds quartet straddle the line in between alternative and heavy rock and, let’s be honest here, do make an almighty racket which you’d think would be unlikely to get much daytime radio play – although apparently Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw and Fearne Cotton are big fans.
But buy into the idea that 40 minutes of clean, fast, rock is hugely entertaining at times and you will find much to enjoy.
