Recorded last year to celebrate 25 years since the band’s debut album, Texas 25 is a 12-track collection featuring eight of the band’s biggest hits re-recorded with US producers Truth and Soul together with four new songs.
It’s an enjoyable enough affair, all told, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with the new material – it all just feels a little pointless.
