Scottish three-piece Errors’ debut EP was title “How Clean Is Your Acid House?” and for fans of that semi-forgotten genre, this new album, their fifth, is manna from heaven.
Joyous, melodic and extraordinarily danceable, it keeps all the sunshine parts of Acid and throws the gloomy hardcore elements out with the rubbish. It even had my three-year-old, a Taylor Swift fan, jigging on the bed.
Dull Care tips its hat to 90s electro-pop outfit Dubstar and closer Through the Knowledge of Those Who Observe Us adds Balearic rhythms to the altogether splendid mix.
