Royal Blood’s support act on their recent tour, Bristol’s Turbowolf are another in the very modern generation of acts which are neither rock, metal or indie – but a winning amalgam of all three. With a smidgeon of punk thrown in.
Two Hands has its share of metallic grinders but is far more successful when the band loosen up a bit, such as on single Rabbits Foot and Good Hand, while on MK Ultra and closer Pale Horse, the heaviness takes a back seat and we are the winners.
